Advancing Encouragement By:

John: 15:7: If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
The whole idea of this passage of scripture that we need to understand is what does the Lord mean about abiding? If you are expecting great things for your life, without abiding you will not be blessed by God with whatever you are asking for. So what is abiding? Well, imagine there is a place where you love to dwell the most out of any other place on earth. The word abide is like having this place where you rest, be entertained, is where you sup, is where love dwells from family and friends, to get re-energized and sleep and most importantly where you study and pray. I am not talking about a vacation on the beach somewhere but abiding is a place where you live daily and never leave even if it is just a continuous state of mind. This place is where you abide and have high expectations that you will always have this place called home, a place where you can always call your own… This is exactly what abides mean and a place where you love being at the most and where you live and dwell, from the word meno. Yes, Jesus Christ wants you to call living in Him your Home sweet Home, a place where you rest, relax, get re-energized, feel loved, a place to enjoy, and to be excited about. It is like when you received your first home or apartment you where so excited and you did not want to leave. Moreover, there was expectancy about where you lived that it would always be satisfying for you. You should feel the same way about Christ… Not only that the Word of God expects the same from you… Jesus Christ expects for His word to live in you to be continuous and to never leave. The Word of God should re-energize you, while you eat, sleep and drink the Word of God. Most importantly do you know that the Word of God also has high expectations for you like you have for Christ? The Word of God again expects for you to eat it, drink it, and sleep it. The Word of God expects for you to use it to the glory of God to let it take manifestation of it’s self in you and when that happens only great things are expected for you… The manifestation of the Word of God in your life means you will expect Jesus Christ to fulfill every one of His promises in your life! There are many promises but here are a few in particular. Number one salvation is yours because He said it in His word, faith is yours to accomplish all of your dreams and goals, hope is yours to carry you through to the next day, and love is yours because He gave Himself up for you by His grace. Here are a few more of the manifestation of Gods Word in your life, success, prosperity, health, wealth, peace, joy and tranquility. Why because He said ask what you will and it shall be done unto you. Asking is what you desire and require of God. Will is what you choose or prefer and be inclined to desire. It shall be done mean ordained to be, come to pass and be performed in your life. Today, line yourself up with the will of God and all that you have been asking for continue to expect it to happen and it shall come to pass and be performed in your life. Why, it has been ordained to be, Jesus Christ said it, now believe it, for your life in Jesus Name, Amen…
